Ingredients

- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, boil water and cook the macaroni according to package directions until al dente. Add the broccoli florets to the pot for the last 2 to 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in the milk, and cook until it thickens.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese and Parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Add the drained macaroni and broccoli back into the pot. Mix until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of milk to restore creaminess.
