- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 package stuffing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker and season with salt and pepper.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the stuffing mix, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, melted butter, chopped onion, chopped celery, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the stuffing mixture over the chicken, covering it as evenly as possible.
- Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and the stuffing is tender.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For a firmer stuffing, check at 4 hours; for a softer texture, allow up to 6 hours. Can be cooked on HIGH for a quicker meal.
