- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups pasta (like penne or rotini)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In the slow cooker, add the diced chicken, pizza sauce, chopped bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms.
- Stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) or high for 240 minutes (4 hours).
- About 30 minutes before serving, cook the pasta according to package instructions.
- Drain the pasta and stir it into the casserole.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and close the lid until the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm.
