- 4 pork chops
- 2 apples, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced

Instructions
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, and optionally sear in a hot skillet for 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Arrange the pork chops in the slow cooker.
- Layer the sliced apples and onions on top of the pork chops.
- In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Pour over the pork, apples, and onions.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed. For a thicker sauce, simmer the cooking liquid on the stovetop until reduced.
- Serve warm, spooning apples and onions over the pork chops.
Notes
Variations include using Dijon mustard for a tangy twist or substituting bone-in chicken thighs. You can prepare the dish ahead by assembling in the slow cooker and refrigerating.
