Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together BBQ sauce, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and easily shreds.
- Remove the chicken, shred it with two forks, and return it to the sauce.
- Serve on sandwiches, in tacos, or over salads.
Notes
For extra saucy chicken, you can add an additional 1/4 to 1/2 cup chicken broth or more BBQ sauce. When shredding, ensure to coat the chicken thoroughly in the sauce for best flavor.
