Ingredients

- 4 pork chops
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 onion, sliced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season pork chops with salt and pepper, then brown them in the skillet for about 3–4 minutes on each side.
- In the slow cooker, place the sliced onion and mushrooms at the bottom.
- Lay the browned pork chops on top of the onion and mushrooms.
- In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth until smooth. Pour this mixture over the pork chops.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or until the pork is tender.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
Notes
For a creamier sauce, stir in 1/2 cup sour cream at the end. Serve with mashed potatoes or egg noodles to soak up the gravy.
