- 8 oz cream cheese
- 4 oz smoked salmon
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp dill
- Salt and pepper
- Optional: Dijon mustard, capers, lemon zest for garnish
Instructions
- Blend the cream cheese, smoked salmon, sour cream, lemon juice, and dill in a food processor until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste; add Dijon mustard if desired.
- Transfer mixture to a bowl, cover, and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
- Serve piped into small cups or spread on crostini or crackers, garnished with dill or capers.
Notes
Store the mousse in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Freezing is not recommended due to texture changes.
