Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers or graham crackers
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, heavy cream, egg yolks, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Slice the ripe bananas and distribute them evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Pour the creamy custard mixture over the sliced bananas.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix crushed vanilla wafers or graham crackers, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter until crumbly.
  6. Evenly scatter the crumb mixture over the banana-custard layer.
  7. Bake for about 35-40 minutes, until the top is golden and the custard has set.
  8. Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
