Description
Experience a swirl of flavors with Sticky Hoisin Beef Noodles, a dish that balances savory beef, crisp vegetables, and a rich, sticky sauce that clings to every noodle.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 8 oz rice noodles
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Boil water and cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and rinse under cold water. Toss with a little sesame oil to prevent them from sticking.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set this flavorful mixture aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Sear the beef slices for 1-2 minutes per side until they are just browned, then remove them from the pan.
- In the same pan, stir-fry garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and carrot for about 2 minutes until they are slightly softened and fragrant.
- Return the seared beef to the pan and pour in your sticky hoisin sauce. Add in the cooked noodles next, tossing everything together until evenly coated in that luscious sauce.
- Sprinkle with green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh cilantro for an extra layer of flavor and color. Serve immediately and enjoy this delightful dish!
Notes
Slicing the beef thinly against the grain ensures tenderness. Customize vegetables and spice levels to suit your taste.
