Instructions

  1. Prep your fruit: Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them into even pieces. Slice the bananas right before assembly.
  2. Prepare the cream filling: Whip or smooth out the cream filling until light and airy.
  3. Crush the cookies: Place cookies in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  4. Build the first layer: Spoon a layer of cream filling into the bottom of each cup.
  5. Add strawberries and cookie crumbs: Arrange sliced strawberries on top of the cream, then sprinkle with crushed cookies.
  6. Add more cream, then bananas: Spoon a second layer of cream, then add a layer of sliced bananas.
  7. Repeat layers: Continue layering until cups are filled, reserving whipped cream for the top.
  8. Top and finish: Add a dollop of whipped cream on each cup, garnishing with extra fruit.
  9. Chill before serving: Refrigerate the cups for at least 30 minutes.

Notes

  2. Work quickly with bananas to keep them from discoloring. A squeeze of lemon juice can help if assembling in advance. For a lighter cream filling, fold in a little extra whipped cream.
