Description

Delicious stuffed breakfast buns filled with egg, bacon, cheese, and chives, perfect for a hearty morning meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 buns (Brötchen)
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 50 g shredded cheese
  • 8 eggs
  • A handful of chives

Instructions

  1. Cut the buns in half and hollow them out so that they are slightly empty.
  2. In each half, place 1 slice of bacon, some cheese, a cracked egg, and a bit of chopped chives.
  3. Arrange the filled buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake them in the oven at 180 °C (356 °F) for 15-20 minutes until the eggs are set and the buns are golden.

Notes

Serve warm with a side of fresh fruit or hot sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
