Description

A fresh, elegant twist on Caprese salad—these Blackberry Caprese Skewers combine creamy mozzarella, sweet blackberries, and fragrant basil. Perfect as an appetizer or party bite.


Ingredients

  • 6 oz fresh blackberries
  • 8 oz mozzarella pearls
  • 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
  • Wooden skewers or toothpicks
  • Optional: balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Wash & Prep: Rinse blackberries and pat dry. Tear basil leaves into pieces about the size of a quarter.
  2. Assemble the Skewers: Skewer a basil leaf, then a mozzarella pearl, another basil leaf, and finish with a blackberry on the tip.
  3. Finish & Serve: Place skewers on a serving platter. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired. Serve fresh and enjoy!

Notes

For added variety, try using strawberries or blueberries instead of blackberries. You can also chill the skewers for 10 minutes before serving for extra refreshment.
