  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar for topping
  • 1/2 cup flour for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, melted butter, milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Pour the sweet potato mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, and flour for the topping. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the sweet potato filling.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
