Scale
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 1-ounce packet taco seasoning
- 2 8-ounce cans refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

Instructions

- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in taco seasoning mix and 3/4 cup water, simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Add cream cheese and salsa, stirring until smooth. Mix in shredded cheese until melted.
- Unroll crescent rolls into a circle on the baking sheet, overlapping the wide ends.
- Spoon beef filling onto the wide ends of the crescents, leaving pointed tips free for folding.
- Fold pointed ends over the filling and seal the edges.
- Optional: Brush with melted butter or egg wash for extra shine.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving with fresh toppings.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with beans or plant-based crumbles.
