A fun, shareable twist on classic tacos, this Taco Ring features golden, flaky crescent dough encasing seasoned beef and cheese, perfect for gatherings and weeknight dinners.

- 1 pound ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning
- 2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls (16 triangles total)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened and cubed
- 1/2 cup mild or medium salsa
- 3/4 cup water
- Optional: 1 tablespoon melted butter or 1 beaten egg for glaze
- Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onion, sliced avocado or guacamole, sour cream, extra salsa
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef (or turkey) until no pink remains, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and 3/4 cup water, stir, and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and mix in cream cheese and salsa until smooth, then stir in shredded cheese until melted.
- Unroll the crescent dough and arrange the triangles in a circle on the baking sheet, with wide ends touching and points facing outward.
- Spoon the meat mixture onto the wide ends of each triangle, avoiding overfilling.
- Fold the pointed ends over the filling and tuck them under the wide ends, sealing the ring.
- Brush with melted butter or beaten egg for a golden top, if desired.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly, then let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with assorted toppings for guests to customize their slices.
