Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning
- 2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened and cubed
- 1/2 cup mild or medium salsa
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon melted butter or 1 lightly beaten egg (optional for glaze)
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

- Return beef to skillet, stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for about 5 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
- Add cream cheese and salsa to the meat mixture and stir until smooth. Then, mix in the shredded cheese until melted.
- Unroll crescent rolls and arrange in a circle on the baking sheet, overlapping the wide ends.
- Spoon the meat mixture onto the wide ends of the crescent rolls.
- Fold the pointed ends over the filling and tuck them underneath the dough.
- Brush with melted butter or egg for a glaze (optional).
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve with toppings.
Notes
Make sure to drain the meat well and avoid overstuffing the crescents for best results.
