Delicious Cranberry Bliss Bars with a soft blondie base, white chocolate, and tangy orange cream cheese frosting.

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (7.5 oz)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp table salt
- 12 tbsp unsalted butter (6 oz), softened
- 1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar (10.5 oz)
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp grated orange zest
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries (3.5 oz, finely chopped)
- 1 1/3 cups white chocolate, chopped or chips (8 oz)
- 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp orange juice
- 1 tsp orange zest, finely grated
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips or melting wafers, for drizzling
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries, finely chopped, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease.
- Cream together butter and brown sugar on medium-high speed for about 3 to 5 minutes until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition and stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
- Fold in white chocolate chips, chopped cranberries, and grated orange zest.
- Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until lightly golden.
- Let cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- In a clean bowl, beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Gradually add sifted confectioners’ sugar until thick and creamy.
- Beat in vanilla extract, orange juice, and orange zest, until fluffy.
- Spread cream cheese frosting over cooled bars.
- Melt white chocolate chips in 20-second intervals until smooth and drizzle over frosting.
- Sprinkle with chopped dried cranberries and chill for 1 to 2 hours before cutting.

These bars make a perfect treat for gatherings and can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 to 7 days.
