- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and season with salt and pepper.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the beef mixture, followed by a layer of tater tots, and then sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
