- 1 package of yellow cake mix
- 1 cup of caramel sauce

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the apple pie filling evenly in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the apple filling.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the apples.
- Pour the melted butter over the cake mix.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and nuts, if using, on top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
